Policy

At Bmint0n, we strive to create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for all our members. To ensure smooth operations and maintain the high standards of our club, we ask that all members, visitors, and participants adhere to the following policies.

  1. Membership Policy
    • Registration: All players must be registered members of Bmint0n to participate in sessions, events, or tournaments. Non-members may join as guests upon approval but may be subject to guest fees.
    • Fees: Membership and court fees are set annually and must be paid in full by the due date. Failure to do so may result in suspension of club privileges.
    • Renewal: Memberships are valid for one year and must be renewed prior to the expiration date to maintain active status.
  2. Court Usage Policy
    • Reservations: Courts are available for booking on a first-come, first-served basis. Members can book courts through our online system or in person. Court bookings are limited to [set time] to ensure fairness for all members.
    • Court Cancellations: Court reservations must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a suspension of booking privileges.
    • Etiquette: Respect your fellow members by adhering to your booking times. Be mindful of court time limits and vacate the court promptly when your session ends.
  3. Code of Conduct
    • Respect: All players, coaches, staff, and visitors must treat each other with respect and courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
    • Sportsmanship: Good sportsmanship is expected from all players. Any intentional behavior aimed at intimidating or disrupting fellow players may result in disciplinary action.
  4. Health and Safety Policy
    • Injury Prevention: Players are encouraged to warm up and stretch before playing to avoid injury. If you experience an injury during play, please report it to club staff immediately.
    • First Aid: Basic first aid is available on-site. For more serious injuries, medical assistance will be called, and emergency contacts will be notified.
  5. Equipment and Attire
    • Rackets and Shuttlecocks: Members are encouraged to bring their own rackets despite there being equipment rental. Shuttlecocks will be provided by the club, but players may bring their own if preferred.
    • Footwear: Non-marking indoor shoes must be worn at all times on the courts to protect the playing surface.
    • Dress Code: Players must wear appropriate sports attire. Casual clothing, such as jeans or sandals, is not permitted on the court.
  6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    • Membership Refunds: Refunds for membership fees are generally not available unless under special circumstances, such as relocation or injury. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the club administration for review.
    • Session Cancellations: In case of session cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, facility maintenance), members will be notified in advance, and sessions will be rescheduled or credited.
  7. Junior Member Policy
    • Supervision: Junior members (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless participating in a supervised program or training session.
    • Consent: Parents or guardians must provide written consent for juniors to participate in club activities, including training, matches, and tournaments.
    • Safety: The safety of junior members is a top priority. Coaches and staff working with juniors are subject to background checks, and the club follows strict safeguarding policies.
  8. Privacy Policy
    • Data Protection: We are committed to protecting the personal data of our members. Any personal information collected during registration is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
    • Communication: By joining the club, members agree to receive club communications related to sessions, events, and announcements. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
  9. Disciplinary Action
    • Violations: Any breach of the club’s policies, including unsportsmanlike behavior, disrespect towards staff or members, or failure to adhere to health and safety guidelines, may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.
    • Appeals: Members who face disciplinary action have the right to appeal the decision by submitting a formal request to the club committee for review.
